ＷＯＷＯＷで「第８０回アカデミー賞授賞式」
オスカー・ナイト！である。
ま、日本は朝なのだが…
脚本家組合のストで授賞式開催が危ぶまれたが、
何とか中止は回避できて、めでたしめでたし。
（実際はどうなのか、微妙な感もあるが…）
８０周年の記念ということもあり、
過去のＶＴＲをたっぷりと使った構成が、何とも豪華な授賞式になった。
主要賞ではコーエン兄弟の「ノーカントリー」が大勝利をおさめた。
作品賞に監督賞、脚色賞、そして助演男優賞のハビエル・バルデム。
ジョシュ・ブローリン主演のバイオレンス・ドラマで、「夜になるまえに」、「海を飛ぶ夢」のスペイン俳優バルデムは、奇妙な殺人者を演じるとのこと。
タイミングよく３月１５日公開とのことで、楽しみが広がる。
主演男優賞はダニエル・デイ＝ルイスが貫録の受賞。
ポール・トーマス・アンダーソン監督作品の「ゼア・ウィル・ビー・ブラッド」は、
石油を掘り当てた男の、欲と裏切りの壮大なドラマだという。
デイ＝ルイスは「マイ・レフトフット」に続いて、２度目の受賞だが、
この人の演技はいつもレベル高いので、
まだ観ていなくても、何となく納得できてしまうのが怖い。
何しろ、「フィクサー」で同じくノミネートのジョージ・クルーニーが、
プレゼンターとして登場した壇上で、
「こんばんは、ダニエル・デイ＝ルイスです」とかやるくらいだし…
主演女優賞は「エディット・ピアフ〜愛の賛歌〜」のマリオン・コティヤール。
ちょうど忙しかったのと、何となくコティヤールのメイクが気持ち悪く、
パスした作品だったのが、まさかの大当たり作品だったようだ。
ちなみに気持ち悪いと思っていたメイクも、メイキャップ賞に輝く始末。
ううん、見る目がなかった…
助演女優賞は、「フィクサー」のティルダ・スウィントン。
薄幸そうで、冷酷そうな表情が、今回もさえ渡っているスウィントン。
ロイヤル・シェイクスピア・カンパニー出身の名女優だが、
そういえば、これまで賞にはあまり縁がなかったことにいまさら気づく。
脚本賞は、「ハード・キャンディ」→のエレン・ペイジ主演の、
「ＪＵＮＯ／ジュノ」のディアブロ・コディが受賞。
元ストリッパーとあってかどうなのか、強烈な趣味のドレスとタトゥーが異彩を放つ。
プレゼンターはハリソン・フォード。やたら不似合いだったりするのがおかしい。
出世作の続編「エリザベス ゴールデンエイジ」で主演、
男装してボブ・ディランを演じた「アイム・ノット・ゼア」で助演と、
ダブル受賞が期待されたケイト・ブランシェットや、
「スウィーニー・トッド フリート街の悪魔の理髪師」のジョニー・デップ、
ジョージ・クルーニーの「フィクサー」あたりは、
ちょうどいい引き立て役にされてしまった印象もややあり、だが、
まあこの人たちは、今回のオスカーなしでも十分スターだし、まあいいのだろう。
